Always had the feeling they might be a big splash in Sweden

Reminds me of that bit at the start of The Blues Brothers albeit somewhat less successful.
They clearly needed a cop engine for better pickup.

I don't understand the whole bridge/canal thing. It looked like a narrow canal yet there was 80ft clearance yet they had to lift the bridge higher to allow a boat under? Mental Swedish cunts
Band manager on tour driving like a lunatic apparently 'wasn't drinking' yea too busy sticking gear up his nose for drinking

That must be a hell of a canal if there's an opening bridge above it with an 80-foot drop.

Without wanting to speak ill of the dead, I listened to them on youtube an thought they were just another whiny sounding Northern indie band. They'll sell more now than they would have alive.

My boy was playing them to me last week and saying he wanted to go and see them. Good music and shame that they seemed to be on the brink of some success as this tragedy happened.

Having driven on a few tours (boxes not people) you can get a bit caught up with the Rock and roll thing , part of the prob driving tired is you get tunnel vision and a sense of "have to get there" been a few times where I have missed stuff by inches purely because I am struggling to stay awake and only looking at the white lines in the road and nothing else.

Recognised a tune of theirs that radio one played a bit of earlier, horrible but by the witness accounts of the accident Fuck knows what the driver was on.

I know a few lads in another band from Warrington, some of them were friends with the manager Craig Tarry, all speaking very highly of him today on FB. Sad news. RiP
